Prepare an order in shelf order

Use shelf codes as an aid while verifying real items and quantities.

Revised:

Shelf management is being introduced. Its screens become available with the shelf-management release; ask your administrator if you do not see them.

1. Open the order

Review the confirmed seller order and the quantities to prepare. Resolve availability or commercial questions before preparing goods.

2. Open warehouse preparation

Use the warehouse picking workflow. Where location assignments exist, the list can show shelf codes and be ordered by those locations.

3. Check each item

Go to the indicated location and verify the product identity, condition and quantity. A code is a navigation aid, not proof that the correct unit is present.

4. Complete the movement

Record completion using the workflow offered by the order and warehouse screens. Check the resulting status and stock before treating the goods as dispatched.
