What the checker tells you
Paste or type a code. The checker recognises EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, GTIN-14 and ISBN numbers and validates the check digit, so you can spot a mistyped or damaged code. For EAN and UPC it shows which GS1 member organisation issued the prefix. It also recognises Amazon ASIN, FNSKU and LPN codes and short retailer article numbers.
The prefix is not the country of origin
The first three digits of an EAN show where the barcode number was issued, not where the product was made. A product made in China can carry a Dutch or German prefix because the brand owner licensed its numbers there. Use the prefix as a hint about the brand owner, not as a statement of origin.
From a code to a listing
A valid code is only the start. WareRushAI scans the barcode on a phone, identifies the product, reads its label and writes a reviewable listing with a Shopify category, so mixed stock is listed in minutes. The checker runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent to our servers.
